88 minutes: GOAL!! Southampton 1-1 Sunderland: The Saints left it late, but they’ve got their goal and probably the first points of their Premier League campaign. Keiren Westwood acrobatically tries to save Jose Fonte ‘s header, but all he cant get to it is a finger before free tv seeing the net move. The freekick was from James Ward-Prowse.
62 minutes: GOAL!! Stoke 2-1 Palace : From behind, Stoke take the lead, and it’s Ryan Shawcross . who was at fault for the first goal, who gives it to them with a spanking finish after a goal-area scramble.
86 minutes: Jack Wilshere is on for his 100th Arsenal appearance. Their only summer signing Yaya Sanogo also comes on for his debut. Another chance for Walcott meanwhile, who surges in from the right before a fine tackle kills the attack.
68 minutes: GOAL!! This London derby has been put to bed. Cazorla jinxes and dodges and shows off his skill inside the box before free tv laying it off for Lukas Podolski , who takes a touch and sends a rasping left-foot shot into the back of the net. Arsenal free tv 3-0 up.
58 minutes: What a chance for Arsenal to put this match to bed. Walcott has a chance to nod it into the net at the far post but he misses. The rebound falls to Ramsey but his shot is blocked. Darren Bent has come on for Damien Duff. That’ll be his debut.
50 minutes: Taarabt takes another free tv shot, we think his fifth of the match withing seconds of the restart which Szczesny has to smartly save. Fulham still showing positive intent, rather than go for damage limitation.
41 minutes: GOAL!! Counter-attack from Arsenal and Walcott takes a shot from the right side of the box. It’s saved by Stockdale, but it goes right in the path of Lukas Podolski , who side foots it from the edge of the penalty area to make it 2-0. Fulham’s resurgence free tv might wane now.
40 minutes: So much space… just so much space for Walcott and he shows that indecisive side of his game to lay it off at the last moment and confuse his midfield mates who sped up the pitch. The danger is cleared away and Fulham free tv press on. No shots in quite some time but the intent from both teams has only been to attack which makes a great game of football.
32 minutes: Fulham well and truly dominating now, playing a high-pressure game and driving towards Berbatov with great intent. Taarabt in particular causing lots of trouble. He’s taken three shots in this short time and even Parker had a chance to shoot after layoff from Berbatov. Excellent football all round. Still 1-0 to Arsenal though.
25 minutes: Now it’s looking more like a London derby, this match. Cazorla leans into Taarabt, who has slowly started finding his feet on his Fulham debut, and the freekick is taken by Kasami. It deflects free tv off the wall and Szczesny has his eye on the ball and saves it. Positive free tv stuff from Fulham.
20 minutes: Arsenal almost give up their slender lead as Taarabt takes a stinging shot which is saved by Szczesny. The rebound falls to Duff, who should’ve converted the chance. But rather than the net bulging, he sees the keeper save it again. Cazorla also fancies a shot at the other end, which is kept away by Stockdale.
15 minutes: GOAL!! Podolski finds a yard or two and shoots. The scuffed shot falls to Olivier Giroud , who’s just onside, and the Frenchman calmly slots in his third of the season. 1-0 to Arsenal.
10 minutes: Incredible chipped pass from Rosicky finds Walcott onside, but the Englishman’s first-time shot is slapped away by Stockdale. The two corners that follow go unpunished but Fulham living on the edge, especially with Riise having to clear off the line from Giroud.
5 minutes: Podolski free tv takes a shot and it’s deflected for the first corner of the match. free tv Santi Cazorla tries to take another shot but shows too much of the ball to Mertesacker. The ball breaks for Fulham and Berbatov plays it to Taarabt on the left, where he is fouled for a dangerous freekick to the hosts.
4.50 PM: By the way, even after the Arsenal match live updates are over, we’ll keep updating the goals from the rest of the matches till 9.30 PM. Those include Everton vs West Brom, Hull vs Norwich, Newcastle vs West Ham, Southampton vs Sunderland and Stoke vs Crystal Palace
