What's going to Light up Lion at the moment? There is a lot of exciting things. One of the things that have filled most of the past is that there has been interest from abroad. We have selected three songs to be translated. It's really hard to translate, you can quickly just make a direct, semi-bad translation, but we have tried to preserve the song's spirit without making the classic direct translation. So we have recorded three of them, and among others argued some of our songs in front of organizers from Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It's one of those things that just took us a lot in the recent past. So we have experimented on with our sound, at times made our direction more acoustic, mbc but is now about to land such a place in between where we have some of the acoustic elements but still retains something new. We are constantly changing and the process of what we do, it's pretty cool just to be allowed to continue the endless ongoing process.
Some of the latest numbers may be a little hardcore to tackle in. Thinking in to other worship bands are to play your music? It concerns us very much. We can insane like to fill many musical layers, but having said that, our starting point to make songs that people can grasp and make their own. That is, it may well be that the music sounds complex and filled with many layers, but really the melody and chords will be, in principle, to work for others too. It has been this difficult balancing act between that we would like to develop our worship and not just do as we traditionally and conventionally have done so far. We would like to push to worship genre and make it more contemporary and clothe it with a more modern trappings, but at the same time, we also super keen to preserve something in the core of it to sing along to worship, we have tried to land somewhere in between, but it do not you decide for yourself if it is successful or not. I think it's important to make it his own praise instead of a hurry to take your things with which we have made on the plate.
Has started in several exciting things? We have something that we can not say much about yet, without having to sound super secretive. We work a lot with the visual part right now. We would like not only to think in music, but also to think about worship as something that can also bring other senses into play. So we work a bit with how we can actually do it, something with video and stuff, but we are not even any final project on it so I can not even tell you a lot even if I wanted to. No, no we are not looking in, it will let up to the people themselves how they choose to relate to our music bodily, but if it could help to push the part then it could be super cool, but that is not what we are dealing with.
Back to your performance for the organizers from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, how was it? It was really just an intimate concert and not the usual with big and brash plants. It was actually a relatively small selection throng of organizers and various people from the youth and children's work in a small hall. Usually we are quite conservative mbc when it comes to having such a kinky ideas, and do those crazy things you can think of. For example, we have to Event wanted to maintain that worship is worship and that preferably should be too bold, but here the idea was actually that we should start up with to act servants, and then we suddenly begin a song. It's one of the things that we have implemented mbc in our new way to go to songs, it's very to use the body purely rhythmic.
