If your idea is to put braces and fiddling, you should espn3 because the Z6 are based tuning ECU p28 and p30, which are OBD1 ... if you do it on the Y8 also you can, but you got to do the conversion OBD2> OBD1
A very important point to consider between the 2 is its ability to lubrication, the Z6 has oil passages in the Y8 cigueal espn3 not, is the weak point of Y8. What tuning do not see it as a counter because the OBDII to OBDI harnes and will be remedied the problem.

I have a D16Y8 with tunning, pulleys you speak of q and p28. All work performed by Hernan Danzi .. and so he was called to the pulley haha no disputing and discussing them. I knew her as "the large pulley": P
